Beschreibung des Künstlers:
Hammerhaie gehören mittlerweile zu den bedrohten Arten unserer Erde, obwohl sie bereits seit 60 Millionen Jahren (!) unsere Ozeane bevölkern. Schockierend und brutal ist die Methode des Shark-Finnings. Für die japanische Haifischflossensuppe werden den Tieren am lebendigen Leib die Flossen abgeschnitten, der Körper verendet im Meer. Können wir uns so etwas im 20. Jahrhundert noch leisten? Mein Beitrag als Künstler soll dem Betrachter die Schönheit dieser einmaligen Unterwasserwelt vor Augen führen. Wir müssen sie erhalten!
